Speaker's ruling

NEW DELHI, DEC. 20. The Lok Sabha Speaker, Somnath Chatterjee, today said that when Parliament was in session, the Government should not announce any policy outside the House. He was responding to a demand by CPI member P.K. Vasudevan Nair that the Government discuss oil pricing in Parliament instead of going to the press.
