MUMBAI, DEC. 8. The second wheelchair tennis clinic was launched at the MSLTA. Mumbai is the second city in India to host this unique tennis promotion for physically challenged players. ITF nominees, John Noakes and Jayant Mistry, will conduct the clinics. They will also organise coaches' clinic for regular coaches, players and interested organisations. Mr. Noakes, who founded the John Noakes Tennis School in 1980, was the district trainer for Leiden and The Hague. He has got coaching degrees from British LTA and USTA. He also conducted demonstration of wheelchair tennis at Seoul Paralympics. Mr. Mistry, ranked No. 9 in singles and seventh in doubles in England, began wheelchair tennis at the age of 19. WCT, as it is called, is played by paraplegics, amputees and quadriplegics, on normal courts or any other surface. Our Special Correspondent
