Leaders enquire about Karunanidhi's health

CHENNAI, NOV. 27. Leaders of political parties today enquired about the health of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam president, M. Karunanidhi, who is recovering from a stomach infection at a private hospital here.

The Congress president, Sonia Gandhi; the former Prime Minister, V.P. Singh; Union Ministers Arjun Singh, P. Chidambaram and Kamal Nath, telephoned him to enquire about his health.

The Communist Party of India (Marxist) State secretary, N. Varadarajan and the central committee member, T.K. Rengarajan, called on Mr. Karunanidhi at the hospital.

The Pattali Makkal Katchi founder, S. Ramadoss, its president, G.K. Mani, and the Union Health Minister, Anbumani Ramadoss, met Mr. Karunanidhi and enquired after his health.
