Lara dropped

PORT-OF-SPAIN (TRINIDAD), NOV. 24. Captain Brian Lara and 15 other West Indies players were dumped on Wednesday from a one-day cricket tournament in Australia in January. This was done after they refused to sign a contract over sponsorship deals. An official identified the others who did not sign as Ramnaresh Sarwan, Dwayne Bravo, Chris Gayle, Wavell Hinds, Marlon Samuels, and Devon Smith, among others.
