BANGALORE, NOV. 21. National Football Club won the State `B' Division Football League Championship for the Bangalore Blues Cup, with an impressive tally of 32 points ahead of Oriental FC (18). The top two teams in the league played out an exhibition match this evening in which Oriental came up with a consolation 1-0 victory, the goal coming off Rama Rao's boot early in the first half. While National and Oriental moved up to the A Division, the two bottom of the table teams, BEML RC and Bangalore Muslims were pushed back to the C division. The following individual awards were given away: Best Goalkeeper: Dominic (Bangalore Muslims); Best Full back: Manju (BHEL - EPD); Best midfielder: Ramesh (BUFC); Best forward: Shahi (National); Player of the League: Karthik (RBI).
