UC College in final round

KOCHI, NOV. 21 . UC College, St. Peter's College, SDPV HSS, Bharat Matha College qualified for the final round league matches in the Ernakulam district senior softball championship a the St. Peter's College ground here on Sunday.

In women's section, St. Peter's college, St. Teressa, Powers Club and Fighters Club qualified for the final round.

The results: Men: UC College, Alua bt Asia Bai, Mattancherry 13-10; UC College bt Winners Club, Palarivattom 7-1; BM College, Trikkakara bt St. Sebastian, Thoppumpaddy 3-2; BM College SAARC, Mattancherry 10-4; St. Sebastian bt SAARC 7-5; St. Peter's bt Brothers, Tripunithura 10-0; SDPV HS School, Palluruthy bt Youngsters Club, Fort Kochi 9-6.

Women: St. Teressa HSS, Ernakulam bt Friends Club, Aluva 12-2. St. Peter's College, Kolencherry bt Powers Club 15-13; St. Peter's College bt Fighters Club, Fort Kochi 6-1; Powers bt Fighters 9-6.
