Kollam in last four

KOCHI, OCT. 11. Ernakulam (10 points) and Kollam (8) — the top two finishers in Group `A' — qualified for the semifinals of the State under-17 inter-district cricket championship at the St. Paul's College ground, Kalamassery, on Monday. Kollam defeated Kottayam by 35 runs in the league's concluding match.

The scores: Kollam 221 for nine in 45 overs (Jishnu Mohan 92, Azhar 41, Lakshman three for 9, Nimish Latheef three for 58) bt Kottayam 186 for six in 45 overs (Thariq Aman 47 n.o.).
