Archana fights back

NEW DELHI, OCT. 11. Qualifier V. Archana of Andhra Pradesh beat Nandita Krishnan of Tamil Nadu 4-6, 6-2, 7-6 (5) in the girls' first round match of the DSCL National mini-junior tennis championship at the DLTA Complex here on Monday.

In the boys' section, Bharat Raju beat the tenth-seeded Sameer Paranjpe of Maharashtra in three sets but lost the second round to Bharat Bhardwaj.
