North Zone (I) defeated South Zone (II) by 82 runs to win the Andhra Cricket Association's inter-zonal cricket tournament for the N. Venkata Rao Trophy at Vijayawada on Sunday according to information received here.
The scores: North Zone (I) 222 for four in 50 overs (J.T. Yadav 75, Atanu Roy 46) bt South Zone (II) 140 for nine in 50 overs (K. Bharat Reddy five for 23).
