BANGALORE, OCT. 1. LIC kept its winning momentum going with a 3-1 win over AGORC in the KVA conducted Senior Division volleyball league at the Sree Kanteerava outdoor courts here. LIC's 25-22, 25-19, 21-25, 25-20 victory was its fourth in five matches, the lone defeat coming against MEG. M. Vikram, the current India star in LIC ranks was in his element, with adequate support from Anil while Ravindra played a lone hand for AGORC. ASC too kept winning but on this day had a struggling HMT to contend with. ASC won despite a mid match hiccup at 25-14, 27-25, 25-14. Wilfred Vegas did an excellent job for the winner. The match between Postal and ITI was abandoned due to rain while CIL beat SAI in a close encounter at 25-23, 20-25, 28-26, 25-27, 15-12 with veteran Shankar playing an all-round game.
