Double for Aviva, Ajai

BANGALORE, OCT. 1. Aviva Bidappa and Ajai Appachu grabbed the limelight with a double each on the opening day of the Great Bangalore Horse Show at the Princess Academy here on Friday.

Aviva Bidappa from Embassy International Riding School riding Zuchero took the first place in the children's (75cm) show jumping event with Ruchi astride Taj taking the second spot. Aviva was on the winner's podium again in the Dressage Children 1 event putting Anzac through the winning paces. Ajai Appachu also from EIRS was winner in the Seniors Dressage event astride Zuchero and he also won the Top Score event.

The results:

Show jumping: Juniors (85 cm): 1. Ranvir Nanda/Rebellion (APRC); 2. Ebba Fox/Sun Spirit (EIRS); 3. Aditya/Trishul (ARPC).

Seniors (85cm): 1. Abhijit Karthikeya/Mirza (APRC); 2. Mahesh/Accumulations (KMP); 3. N.C. Subbaya/Norfolking (EIRS).

Children (75cm): 1. Aviva Bidappa/Zuchero (EIRS); 2. Ruchi/Taj (APRC); 3. Fouad/Informer (ECE).

Sub-Juniors: 1. Hitesh/Trishul (APRC); 2. Keerti/Sunbird (CEA); 3. Vinod/Rebellion (APRC).

Dressage: Preliminary Children 1: 1: Aviva Bidappa/Anzac (EIRS); 2. Litihika Reddy/Bijli (JIRS); 3. M. Sahani/Architect (ECE).

Preliminary Children 2: 1. Finbar Dexter/Tipu (EIRS); 2. Chinappa/Spring Dancer (MRS) and Anantya/Miss Perky (ECE); 3. Arjun/Spring Dancer.
