TN wins title

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, OCT. 1. Tamil Nadu won the EPF South Zone football championship at the Central stadium here on Friday. Tamil Nadu blanked host Kerala 4-0 to remain unbeaten in the four-team league. Karnataka, which defeated Andhra Pradesh 3-0 in its last league match, finished second with two wins in the league. Kerala finished third. The all-India EPF tournament will begin at the same venue on Oct. 4.
