Good knock by Narsing

HYDERABAD, OCT. 1. Good knock by Narsing (90 not out) helped Mahbub College record a four-wicket win against Wesley Junior College `B' in the Parle Cup inter-schools cricket tournament (under-17) here on Friday.

The scores:

Parle Cup: Little Flower Jr. College `A' 299 for four (P. Nandan Naidu 82, V. Harshavardhan 72, Hariharan 83 not out) bt Methodist Jr. College 168 (Aman 43, Paramveer Singh four for 29).

Bhavan's Aurobindo Jr. College `B' 165 (Karthik 43, B. Hemant four for 40) lost to Don Bosco HS 166 for five (Md. Fardun 68).

Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan 126 (Syed Ali four for six) lost to St. Patrick's HS 129 for four (Moizuddin 40, Saichand 44 not out).

Wesley Jr. College `B' 222 (Zameer 65) lost to Mahbub College 223 for six (Venkatesh 49, Narsing 90 not out).

All Saint's HS 277 for five (Shiva Kishore 70, K. Srikanth 63 not out) bt Jubilee Hills PS 234 (Pradeep 67, Abhichakra 65, Akshath Reddy four for 25).
