NEW DELHI,
OCT. 1
. Despite putting its best foot forward, India could not wriggle out of the string of defeats and lost its third consecutive match 1-0 to Laos in the AFC Youth Championship 2004 at the MPPJ Stadium in Kuala Lumpur.
This was India's third defeat in a row after it lost the first two matches to Syria and Uzbekistan by an identical 2-1 margin in Group `C'.
