Reshma powers Brennen HSS to victory

ALUVA, SEPT. 13. G. Reshma (20 points) hogged the limelight as Government Brennen HSS (Thalassery) defeated Government Vocational HSS (Sports Division, Kannur) 48-39 in the opening girls' match of the first Carmel all-Kerala inter-school basketball tournament at the Carmel floodlit stadium here on Monday evening.

The result: Govt. Brennen HSS (Thalassery) 48 (G. Reshma 20, N.J. Lija 12) bt Govt. Vocational HSS (Kannur) 39 (Neena Harindran 17).
