Arun Babu claims title

BANGALORE, SEPT. 13. Arun Babu, with +5 points, claimed the title in the sixth N.A. Muthanna Memorial Trophy golf tournament held at the Karnataka Golf Association course here on September 10 and 11. The meet was an on par competition played over 18 holes.

For the runner-up spot, there was a three-way tie between Arun Pandurang, B. Pritham Basappa and M.K. Aiyappa, all finishing with +4 points. Pandurang, however, was adjudged the runner-up on basis of better back six scores.

Special prizes were awarded to Sharan Lakshmanan (longest drive), Rajesh Joshi (closest to the pin) and Nitin Rajajoo (straightest drive).
