Bowlers' day out

ANANTAPUR, SEPT. 13. It was the bowlers' day out on the day one of four-day Andhra inter-zonal Ranji team selection cricket match between

Central and South here today. In all, 15 wickets fell.

Chosing to bat Central could post 144 in 57.3 overs. For South, Shahbuddin scalped five wickets for 33 runs, while Md. Fayak claimed 3 for 33.

In reply, South was also in trouble. For 111 runs half of the team was back in the pavilion at the stumps on day one.
