AG (TN) `A' in final

CHENNAI, SEPT. 13. AG Tamil Nadu `A' and AG Andhra Pradesh `A' reached the final (team event) of the South Zone Indian Audit and Accounts Department carrom tournament here on Monday.

Sanjeev Saluja, IA & AS, Principal Accountant General (Audit) I, Tamil Nadu and Pondichery, inaugurated the tournament.

The results (semifinals): AG (TN) `A' bt AG (AP) `B' (Mahesh Devaraj bt Venugopal Rao 25-0, 16-13; K. Raja bt V. Ratna Babu 25-8, 25-3; G.S. Rajan bt M.V.V. Prasad 18-12, 20-12); AG (AP) `A' bt AG (TN) `B' (V. Anil Kumar bt Satyanarayanan 25-10, 25-0; Ravindra Goud bt P. Sekar 25-10, 25-9; P.S. Udayakumar bt D. Balayoganand 25-11, 25-12).
