Easy for YMCC

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, AUG. 8. Young Men's Cricket Club notched up an easy eight-wicket win over A.G.'s Office and entered the quarterfinals of the inaugural G.V. Raja Memorial all-Kerala cricket tournament at the Medical College ground here on Sunday.

In another match, Murugans Cricket Club defeated Pankajakasturi Cricket Club by three wickets to enter the third round.

The scores:

A.G.'s Office 92 in 26 overs (Sajeev 39, Anoop three for 22) lost to YMCC 95 for 2 in 15.3 overs (Biju 59).

Pankajakasturi CC 130 in 27.2 overs (Nizam Omar 31, Ajay Prasad 31, Girish three for 9, Venkatesh three for 21) lost to Murugans CC 133 for seven in 25 overs (Sreenivasan 30, Anish three for 30).
