Hindustan BC in final

DINDIGUL, AUG. 8. Hindustan Basketball Club (Chennai) and Southern Railway Cooperative Society Basketball Club (Chennai) entered the final of the State-level open basketball tournament on Sunday.

The results (semifinals): Hindustan BC 81 (Periasamy 21, Shankar 20, Gnanavel 13, Raja 11) bt South Zone Police 74 (Navaneethakrishnan 27, K. Jacob 13, Prabhu 12); Southern Rly Coop. Society BC 89 (Pechi 37, Yuvaraja 19, Wilsin 11) bt A.N.D BC, Tiruchi 86 (Suresh 41, Leo Antony Raj 16, Karthik 11).
