Prithiviraj breaks record

CHENNAI, AUG. 8. R. Prithiviraj Thondaiman of CHRC with a score of 38 broke his own record (33) set last year in the junior men's Trap of the Tamil Nadu shooting championship for shot gun events at B. Sivanthi Adityan Trap and Skeet Range, Alamadi, here on Saturday.

The results: Trap: Men: N. Bakthavatchalam (CRC) 41, 2. R. Prithiviraj Thondaiman (CHRC) 38, 3. B. Ashok (CRC) 37; Junior Men: 1. R. Prithiviraj Thondaiman (CHRC) 38, 2. R. Venkataram (CHRC) 37, 3. C.R. Ramesh (CRC) 13.

Women: 1. Malathy David (CHRC) 11.
