Yesudas stars in Osmania's win

HYDERABAD, JULY 31. Yesudas scored a century (108, 16 x 4) as Osmania defeated Zinda Tilismath by 108 runs in the A-Division (two-day) league cricket championship for R. Jaywanth Rao Trophy here on Saturday.

The scores: A-Division (two-day): Osmania 272 (Sunil Reddy 45, Imtiaz 61, Yesudas 108, Abhishek Ponia three for 17) bt Zinda Tilismath 164 (Faraz Baig 38, N.C. Kaushik three for 43,Yesudas three for 18).

Oxford Blues 104 (G. Ashok Singh five for 20) lost to Income Tax 106 for three.

Brothers XI 193 (Syed Mansoor 80, Mohd. Sajjad Ali 50, Bhasker Narayan three for 23, K.B.P. Suresh Kumar three for 24) lost to Crown CC 194 for four (Seshagiri 35, Mohd. Iqbal 33,T. Chandra Shekar 80 not out, Mohd. Farazuddin three for 38).

PKMCC 115 (Kunal 30, Sukhdev four for 36, Paramveer Singh five for 42) lost to Youngsters 118 for three (D. Satish 35 not out).

A-Division (one-day): Sai Sathya 184 for eight (Gopi 50 not out, Anil Patel 31, Vinay 34 not out, Shaik Azmath three for 17) lost to Vijaypuri Willomen 185 for five (Leroy 36, John Bosco 75 not out, Anthony 38, Durga Prasad three for 22).

A-Institutions: Apseb 93 (Waseem Aktar three for 18, Ravindranath three for one) lost to CCMB 94 for two (Zia 40, Bangaraju 32 not out).

HMT Bearings 225 (Daniel 70, Sajid 30 not out, Javeed four for 45, Murali three for 60) drew with IDL 159 for three (Javeed 74, Pavan 34, Murali 32 not out). (match washed out).

FCI 141 (Ratnakar 60, Satyanarayana three for 41, Hemanth three for 30) vs Indian Airlines 137 for six (Hussain 48, Ayaz Umar 34, Madhu three for 45). (match abandoned).
