BANGALORE, JULY 31. Vidyashilp Academy defeated St. Aloysius HS by 56 runs in a Himalaya Chyavanaprasha Cup B.T. Ramaiah Shield tournament match at the NAL Ground here on Saturday.

The scores: New Horizon Public School 164 for eight in 30 overs (Sharath 34, Nitish 27) bt Seshadripuram HS 111 in 23 overs.

Vidyashilp Academy 180 for five in 30 overs (Saipreeth 41 n.o., Ryan 25 n.o.) bt St. Aloysius HS 124 in 25 overs (Anthony 29, Arvind 26 n.o., Raunak three for 28).

Crescent HS 114 in 20 overs (Suhail three for 24) lost to Indiranagar HS 116 for eight in 15.2 overs (Syed Mohsin three for 29, Md. Sadath three for 30).
