Tiruvallur has it easy

TIRUCHI, JULY 31. Tiruvallur crushed Tiruchi by an innings and 26 runs in the semifinals of the TNCA-Hercules MTB Turbo Drive inter-district cricket tournament conducted by the Tiruchi District Cricket Association at the National Institute of Technology ground here on Saturday.

Tiruchi, which was struggling at 101 for five in its second innings at the end of the second day's play last evening, was all out for 156.

The scores: Semifinals: Tiruchi 58 and 156 in 82.3 overs (P. Logesh 36, N. Kiran Keerthi 51, B. Sriram four for 22) lost to Tiruvallur 240.
