College student held

SIVAGANGA, JULY 9. A college student was arrested for allegedly trying to murder a junior student of the Government King College at Sivaganga last night.

According to the police, Balamurugan, second year BA student, was stabbed after a quarrel with a senior student of the college last evening.

The incident occurred on the college campus. Balamurugan was admitted to a hospital in Sivaganga.

On a complaint, the police arrested Baskaran, a third year B.Com student.
