HYDERABAD, JUNE 30. The President, A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, will address a special session of the Andhra Pradesh Assembly some time between July 10 and 20. This information was given by the Minister for Finance and Legislative Affairs, K. Rosaiah, after a meeting of floor leaders of various political parties in the chambers of the Speaker, K.R. Suresh Reddy, today. He said the leaders agreed to the suggestion for convening a special session since this will be only the second time that the State Assembly will have the privilege of hosting the President. The only other such occasion was when Neelam Sanjiva Reddy had addressed the House on June 28, 1978. Mr. Rosaiah told reporters that necessary adjustments in the agenda of the ongoing budget session would be made to accommodate the President's address once Rashtrapathi Bhavan finalised the date.
