Teenager dies of snake-bite

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, JUNE 24 . A 13-year-old boy died after he was bitten by a snake near his house at Undapara in the Vithura police station limits on Thursday morning.

The police identified the deceased as Nandu of Sunitha Bhavan. A post-mortem examination was conducted at the Medical College Hospital here.

Electrocuted

A 27-year-old youth was electrocuted when he was operating a grinder at his house in Muttada in the Peroorkada police station limits on Thursday. The police identified the deceased as Oomen Francis, a resident of Kesava Bhavan. The police have registered a case of unnatural death. A post-mortem examination was conducted at the Medical College Hospital here.
