NEW DELHI, MAY 25 . The Finance Minister, P. Chidambaram, called on the Communist Party of India general secretary, A.B. Bardhan, here this evening.
The CPI national secretary, D. Raja, was present on the occasion. CPI sources described the visit as a "courtesy call."
On Monday, the Pattali Makkal Katchi president, S. Ramadoss, visited the CPI central office and met the party's top leadership.
