Sir, K. Karunakaran's reported move to form a parallel organisation within the Kerala Congress is deplorable. Having served the party for long, the octogenarian leader should realise that such moves only lower his esteem in the eyes of the public. The restraint shown by the Chief Minister, A.K. Antony, in the face of this crisis is commendable.
