Three planeloads of relief material for Iran

NEW DELHI DEC. 29. India will send three planeloads of relief material beginning on Tuesday to help the earthquake-hit people in the Iranian city of Bam, the External Affairs Ministry spokesman, said this evening.

The relief package will include 10,000 blankets and 1,000 tents as well as a full complement of doctors to rig up a 75-bed mobile hospital. The hospital will have an operation theatre and medical supplies for four weeks.
