Sir, — With reference to the news item, `Musharraf bid to curb resurfacing militant groups' (Nov. 16), the General's orders for immediate action to curb the banned militant groups' re-emergence is most welcome in that it is not confined to the Al-Qaeda and the U.S. interests in Afghanistan.
