Regional feelings

Sir, — The recent acts of violence between the Assamese and the Biharis show how far behind we are in the making of our nation. According to the Constitution, a citizen can seek employment anywhere in the country. The "sons of the soil" theory has done enough harm in the past. Narrow regional feelings cannot be justified in the name of regional development.
