`Get rid of pigs'

Hyderabad July 24. The Chief Minister dubbed pigs carriers of many communicable diseases such as Japanese encephalitis, and issued instructions to district Collectors to ask owners in the city to immediately sell the animals to those with sties on outskirts or kill them.

However he asked the Collectors to take these steps only after rehabilitation of families depending on pig-rearing.
