Veerappan aides surrender

ERODE July 24. Vasantha Leela, Bhavani judicial magistrate, last night remanded to custody for 15 days four wanted associates of the forest bridgade, Veerappan, who had surrendered before her. They were then taken to the Coimbatore central prison.

The Burgur police had been searching for Kozhi (35), Mylsamy (40), Thangammal (40) of Kolathur Thanda, Mettur taluk, and Chinnadurai (33) of Komarapalayam in connection with supply of explosives and firearms to the bandit.
