Film screening banned

Jabalpur July 24. Terming ``objectionable'' the singing of the national anthem in the Hindi film `Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham', the Madhya Pradesh High Court today banned its screening till the scene is removed.

In a 45-page judgment, a Division Bench held that the manner in which it was sung in the film was an ``insult to the anthem''. — PTI
