Out of focus

Sir, — Your Editorial, "Out of Focus" ( July 22 ) aptly spotlights the present day lacunae in our film industry. Most of the movies made here have the core theme of love. The lack of creativity, commitment and seriousness in artists, and fierce competition from cable TV are big challenges to the film industry.
