K.A. Aseez dead

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM July15. The noted Malayalam film and theatre artiste, K.A. Aseez, died here on Tuesday night following cardiac arrest. He was 68.

Aseez, a resident of Gandhipuram, Sreekaryam, was rushed to a private hospital in the city, after he complained of chest pain at about 2 p.m. and had been admitted to the ICU. However, the end came at about 10-30 p.m. He is survived by his wife and three children. The funeral will be held on Wednesday noon, at the Chempazhanthi Juma Masjid.

Aseez retired as a DySp in 1989. He has over 120-odd movies to his credit, in most of which he had acted as a police official or as a villain. Some of his movies include `Peruvazhiyambalam', `Kodiyettam', `Kauravar', `Dhruvam', `Thanthram', `Lelam', `Yathra', etc. . He had acted in over 70 tele-serials.
