Pension for weavers

Meanwhile, the State executive of the weavers' cell of the BJP which met here urged payment of old-age and widow pension to weavers at the rate of Rs. 250 a month as was paid in West Bengal and Kerala. The meeting held under the chairmanship of V. Sriramulu, member, All-India Handloom Board, resented the failure of the Government to check the starvation deaths of weavers.
