Three killed in road accidents

BANGALORE July 13. Three persons were killed in road accidents in the City on Saturday.

A man died on the way to hospital after he fell while trying to board a bus at route no. 96 bus stop in Subashnagar Bus Stand, on Saturday night. He was identified as Shankar (33) of Kamalanagar. Suresh (19), who fell along with Shankar, has been admitted to Sanjay Gandhi Accident Hospital and Research Institute. An aged woman was run over by a lorry on Hosur Road, near Singasandra in Madivala Police Station limits. The lorry driver is reported to be absconding. The victim has been identified as Rudramma (68).

A motorcyclist died when his vehicle collided with another on 80 ft. road in Nagarbhavi II Stage in Jnanabharati Police Station limits on Saturday. The victim has been identified as Naveen Kumar (30), a resident of Chandra Layout.

Woman pushes son into well: A woman, said to be of unsound mind, allegedly killed her son by pushing him into a well near her house in Ganapathinagar in Byatarayanapura police limits on Saturday. Police gave the name of the woman as Annapurna and that of her son as Manjunatha (4). Her husband, Onkarappa, was away when the incident took place, it is said.
