Hospital cluster from Wockhardt

Bangalore July 13 . The City will see its first healthcare complex in the form of a cluster of three hospitals coming up on Bannerghatta Road. Specialities ranging from cardiology to orthopaedics will be available in this cluster. Wockhardt Hospitals have acquired land opposite the Indian Institute of Management for this, and the first phase is likely to be ready in two years. The Wockhardt Brain and Spine Hospital, Bone and Joint Hospital, and Heart Hospital will be in this location. The Heart Institute in Cunningham Road will continue. The new complex will cost Rs. 200 crore when completed.

Announcing this on Saturday, the Chairman of Wockhardt, H.F. Khorakiwala said the cluster of hospitals would have 400 beds to start with
