Nominated for 1,000 posts at Secretariat

CHENNAI JULY 13. The District Employment Office and Professional and Executive Employment Office have nominated graduates and postgraduates from Chennai district for 1,000 assistant posts at the Secretariat.

The candidates will be appointed as per seniority and communal rotation, according to an official release.

The cut-off dates for seniority are April 23, 1997 for Scheduled Tribes, August 16, 1990 for Scheduled Castes, November 12, 1990 for Most Backward Classes, September 6, 1988 for Backward Classes and March 9, 1989 for the open competition.

Candidates should appear before the Deputy Secretary of the Personal and Administrative Department at the Secretariat with original certificates and employment office identity cards on July 14 at 10 a.m. according to the release.
