Talking to presspersons after inaugurating the delegates' meet of the `Samanvayam' programme organised for non-resident Keralites by the Department of Non-resident Keralite Affairs (Norka), here today, Mr. Rajagopal said the Government was succumbing to pressure from one of its own allies in the ruling coalition. Asked whether the Chief Minister's statement pertaining to pressure tactics by minority groups was made as part of a `greater design', Mr. Rajagopal said it appeared to be so. "One leader who went to the Congress' Shimla conference comes back and speaks as though he were accommodating Hindu sentiments to some degree. Another leader meanwhile speaks as though for the Muslim community. One should think there is a design behind all this,'' he said.
