`Attempt to discredit KSSP'

By Our Special Correspondent

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM July 13. The Kerala Sastra Sahitya Parishad has decided to take out a march to the Assembly demanding an inquiry into the allegation against the organisation.

The Kerala Sashtra Sahitya Parishad SSP central executive meeting in Palakkad also decided to initiate legal proceedings against the publishers of `Padom', the magazine which carried the allegations.

In a statement here today, the KSSP president, K Papputty, and the general secretary, N.K. Sasidharan Pillai, said that the allegations against the organisation were part of a pre-meditated attempt by certain quarters to discredit it.

The meeting wanted the Government to order a probe without any delay and expressed surprise at the persistent statements of Ministers merely demanding an inquiry instead of taking concrete action in that direction.
