Epidemics: CM to discuss with public

Hyderabad July 10. The Chief Minister, N. Chandrababu Naidu, will discuss with officials and the public "Pillalni Kapadukundaam--Domalni Nirmuliddam'' (Eradicate mosquitos; protect children) from 10.30 am to 1 p.m. on Friday.

The programme aiming at creation of awareness among people against diseases like gastroenteritis, dengue and suspected viral encephalitis, will be telecast live on Ku-Band, Doordarshan Saptagiri (DD 8) channel and on In-Cable. During the programme, the Chief Minister will interact with people on telephone Nos. 23453229, 23453230, 23453231 and on cell No 98480-54343. The participants of the programme will include members of self-help groups and panchayat functional committees, apart from officials of the connected departments, Medical & Health, Municipal Administration, Panchayat Raj etc. Children of schools having TV sets have been advised to view the programme as a must.
