The pathological cause of the adult deaths is yet to be determined. There have been nine dengue deaths and two leptospirosis deaths in the district so far. Meanwhile, various health care institutions in the district reported an estimated 2,867 viral fever cases on Monday. Dengue infection was confirmed in three new patients, including two women in the city and suburbs.
