The night beat police nabbed Raju when he was trying to break into a house in Indiranagar on Wednesday last.With his arrest, cases of burglary in Ramamurthynagar, JP Nagar and RT Nagar police limits have been solved.
Arrested
The Seshadripuram Police recently arrested two inter-State thieves and recovered three stolen two-wheelers worth Rs.1 lakh from them. The names of the arrested were given as Raja, alias Rajesh, (27) and Ravish, alias Munna, (28) of Dharmapuri District in Tamil Nadu. With their arrest, three cases of vehicle theft in Seshadripuram and Ulsoor Gate Police limits have been solved.Raja earlier served a jail term for murder.The arrested have been remanded to judicial custody. In another case, the Srirampuram Police have arrested Manju, alias Manjunath, (22) of Dayanandnagar and recovered seven stolen two-wheelers worth Rs.1.2 lakhs from him.Manju stole the vehicles from Subramanyanagar, Malleswaram, Rajajinagar and Srirampuram police limits. He was nabbed with a two-wheeler on 2nd Main, Ramachandrapuram.
Recovered
The Kalasipaylam Police on Saturday arrested two thieves and recovered a stolen autorickshaw from them. Kutti (20) of City Market and Narayana Swamy (19) of Yelahanka stole the autorickshaw parked in Weavers Colony off Bannerghatta Road, according to police. One of their accomplices is reportedly absconding.
