By Our Staff Reporter
Addressing a public meeting here last night, he said the party would score a great victory and its president, M. Karunanidhi, would become Chief Minister again. Day by day the law and order was deteriorating in Tamil Nadu, Mr. Stalin said and cited the Erode Karungalpalayam police inspector, Jothi Krishnan, going `missing', and also the attack on the former Information Minister, Mullaivendhan, inside the Salem Central Prison. He charged the Chief Minister, Jayalalithaa, with not showing any interest in the development of the State; instead, she was concentrating her attention on ``foisting cases'' on Mr. Karunanidhi and other former Ministers. On behalf of the district DMK, an election fund of Rs. 51 lakhs was handed over to Mr. Stalin .
