Harsh in lead

VISAKHAPATNAM JULY 7. K. Harsh of Vijayawada, K. Sai Nirupama of Ongole and J. Ramya Sri of Nandigama are leading the table in the under-7 boys, under-7 girls and under-9 girls' events at the end of the third round of the AP (Vijayawada division) chess championship at Tanuku (West Godavari District) on Monday, according to information received here.

The results (Third round): Boys: Under-9: L. Sai Harsha (2) lost to V.A.V. Rajesh (3), L.M. Venkat (3) bt W.V. Yashaswi (2), Ch.M.C. Reddy (1.5) lost to V. Ramkumar (2), V.V.R.S. Vallabh (1) lost to K. Harish Babu (2.5), T.v. Sandeep (1) lost to Ch. Abhishek Reddy (2).

Under-7: K. Harsh (3) bt K. Reshmanth (2), Y.V.K. Chakravarthy (2.5) bt M. Apuroop (2), G.V. Saikrishna (2.5) bt K. Murali Krishna (1.5), D. Mohankrishna (2.5) bt S.A. Sandeep (1), K.V.S.S. Priyatam (2) bt K. Vijayakanth (1).

Girls: Under-9: J. Ramya Sri (3) bt M. Veena Mounica (2), G. Lakshmi (1) lost to N. Sravani (2), K.G.P. Priyanka (2) bt Y. Sowmya (1), B.P. Likita (1) lost to T. Hemalata (2).
