Lands film role... finally

SYDNEY: She tried everything possible to woo the Americans, but to no avail. But her recent visit across the Atlantic to raise her profile has paid-off. For, Posh Spice Victoria Beckham has bagged her first Hollywood film role. The 29-year-old former Spice Girl is set to star in an upcoming remake of Mel Brooks' classic 1968 comedy The Producers. The wife of England football captain David Beckham, whose only acting assignment till now was in the 1997 British film Spice World, will visit the U.S. again later this year to finalise the details of her role. — ANI
