BMP staff assn.'s anniversary

BANGALORE July 4. In commemoration of its 25 years of existence, the Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BMP) Naukarara Sangathane will celebrate its 25th anniversary on Saturday at the Town Hall in the City..

The Union Minister for Urban Development and Poverty Alleviation, Ananthkumar, will inaugurate the celebration. The Minister for Food and Civil Supplies, Ramalinga Reddy, will release a souvenir, Sneha Setuve.

The Mayor, C.M. Nagaraj, will preside over the function.

The sangathane, established in 1978 under the name of Bangalore City Corporation

Employees' Union, has grown along with the BMP, its President, M.S. Ramanna, said.
